Jennifer Stewart
Principal

Jennifer Stewart has almost two decades of experience forging strong relationships with Democratic members of Congress while working in government relations, public policy, and on Capitol Hill. She has especially strong ties with many members of the Congressional Black Caucus, which she forged while working for Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX) and for Congressman Gregory Meeks (D-NY). After leaving the Hill, Jennifer served as Senior Policy Advisor at Bryan Cave, Government Affairs Manager for AstraZeneca and received her PhD in Education and Public Policy from American University. In 2011, Jennifer founded Stewart Strategies & Solutions, a government affairs firm which offers its clients creative and strategic approaches to public policy matters.

Ebony Simpson
Vice President

Simpson worked on Capitol Hill for six years. During her time there, Simpson worked for Congressman William “Bill” Jefferson and Congressman Henry C. “Hank” Johnson.  In both roles, Simpson catered to the needs of the Members, staff and their constituents. She was able to build and maintain important relationships for both Members both on and off Capitol Hill.  Simpson’s experience on Capitol Hill and eager willingness to help and serve others makes her a valuable asset to Stewart Strategies & Solutions.

Kimberly A. Woodard
Strategic Partnerships Associate

Kimberly Woodard has more than 20 years of experience working in government relations, which includes political fundraising, relationship management, brand reputation and event planning. This breadth of experience was gained while working for Walmart, where she led the company’s outreach to Democrats, including political engagement; and McLane Company, where she established and managed the company’s government relations department and the political action committee. Kimberly hung her own shingle, the WesleyPrestonGreen group, in 2012; she joined Stewart Strategies & Solutions in January 2020.
